Benefits of sport for the people
The company is not the only party to benefit from the employees' sporting activities. The standard working
day lasts between seven and ten hours a day. To these working hours must be added the lunch break and
the time spent commuting to the office for a total of twelve to fifteen hours a day.
With this time margin, it is logical to think that the employee may find it difficult to include sport in his or
her daily routine, but he or she must also consider all the positive aspects that sport has on his or her life:
- Increase of endorphins and therefore better mood.
- It prevents cardiovascular diseases and reduces sedentary lifestyles.
- It reduces stress and anxiety.
- Increases performance and promotes teamwork.
- Improves concentration and relationships between colleagues.
- It improves the quality of life of the person.
For this reason, it is important to include a few minutes of exercise in your daily routine. Although not all
companies allow breaks for this, you can use fifteen minutes of your lunch break to do some exercise and
stretching that will allow you to return to work more relaxed or, for example, include cycling or walking to
work, take the stairs instead of the lift...
You don't need to go to the gym or do any sport, you can use your own body weight to do exercises to
relieve muscle aches and pains and keep you active.
It is always better to spend even five minutes than nothing at all!
