in concepts such as self-confidence, motivation, psychological well-being, positive body image, mental
toughness in individuals who regularly exercise or do sports, there is a decrease in concepts such as
addictions (alcohol, cigarettes…), anger, anxiety, depression, and stress (Marcus). et al., 2000; Weinberg
and Gould, 2015). In connection with this, many factors such as weight control, reducing stress and
depression, being healthy and physically fit, entertainment, physical appearance, socialization and self-
confidence can enable people to exercise or do sports.
As a result, we can say that people should be directed to exercise or sports in order to increase their
quality of life, become more physically fit, protect themselves from diseases and achieve psychological
well-being.
