Individuals who are not active enough in daily life are at higher risk for health compared to individuals who
are active. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), inadequate physical activity is the fourth
Headings leading risk factor for death worldwide. Approximately 3.2 million people die each year due to lack of
physical activity. Individuals who do at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity most days of
the week have a 20% to 30% lower risk of death compared to individuals with inadequate physical activity

levels (WHO, 2021). Therefore, it is very important to encourage individuals to participate in regular
physical activity. There are many scientific studies that show that participating in sports has many positive

excessively frequent, very strict or extremely competitive". It is called recreational sports.It is this form of
sports that contributes to the development and protection of the individual's health.

In addition to its contributions to health, sports also create social effects that are highly accepted today.

today's societies, is defined as the success of the individual to adapt to living with other people or the
effort to introduce himself in the group he belongs to in a unique way. Adaptation to different groups,

social effects in increasing the social adaptation of individuals to the society they live in. Following the
social rules and restricting criminal behaviors (cheating, using violence, using illegal substances, excessive
alcohol use, etc.), providing social interaction, having fun and enjoyment, expanding life experience and
making more friends can be listed among the important social effects of sports ( Blinde et al., 1993;
Coakley, 2007). However, in order to benefit from these positive effects, individuals must first provide the
socialization process for sports. The socialization process in sports is accepted as a two-dimensional
