Examination of Adults' Leisure Constraints, Social Inclusion and Life
Satisfaction: Perspectives from Five European Countries
• Considering that the participants often prefer to participate in leisure time activities with their
friends or family, planning the types of activities to be offered in order to increase the frequency/
number of individuals' participation,
• Making arrangements to facilitate the participation of Turkish participants, who stated that they
were most affected by leisure time barriers/restrictors,
• Conducting studies in this direction in the future to identify the factors that cause the low level
of social inclusion of Greek citizens, whose social inclusion levels are found to be the lowest,
• Organizing various researches (qualitative, quantitative, mixed method research) on how to
increase the life satisfaction levels of all participants, especially Turkey, which has the lowest
average score, even though the life satisfaction levels of the participants are above the average,
• It may be suggested to organize more generalizable studies by including different participant
groups in the studies.
